What you'll find in the MSL collection
The MSL range works particularly well if you're putting together a coordinated look across multiple rooms, or if you've got a specific gap to fill (a lamp for a side table, a clock for an awkward bit of wall, a wine rack for the kitchen). The collection is built around a few core categories.
Table lamps and lighting
This is the biggest part of the range, with around 40 different table lamps to choose from. Most are ceramic-based with linen shades, and they come in a wide spread of heights, from compact 20cm designs that suit a bedside table through to taller 54cm pieces that work as a focal point on a console or sideboard. Patterns vary from plain classic finishes through to giraffe print, zebra print, floral, and more decorative options. Every lamp has an inline rocker switch and is double insulated.
If you're matching lamps across a room or pairing them either side of a bed, it's worth picking from the same height range so they sit at the same level when switched on. The shades are linen and tend toward neutral tones, which means most lamps work with whatever you've already got going on in terms of colour scheme.
Wall clocks
MSL does clocks properly. The collection includes 27 designs, ranging from straightforward 34cm wall clocks for kitchens and hallways through to more decorative pieces like the 80cm Gear Clock, which features a skeleton openwork face with a world map background. These bigger pieces work as a wall feature in their own right, particularly in living rooms, dining areas or open-plan spaces where a regular clock would look lost.
Console tables and bedside cabinets
The console tables (13 in the range) are a quiet strength of the collection. They suit narrow hallways, the back of a sofa, or under a wall-mounted TV. Most have a clean, slim profile that doesn't dominate a space. The bedside cabinets pick up on similar styling, with several featuring solid wood construction and woven front panels for a bit of texture.
Dining chairs and seating
For the dining room, MSL covers French cross-back designs, fabric upholstered chairs and more contemporary wooden options. There are 15 dining chair styles in total, plus a handful of bar stools. The cross-back chairs in particular suit farmhouse-style or transitional dining setups, and they pair well with both painted and natural wood tables.
There's also a smaller selection of armchairs, footstools and sofas, including a velvet footstool with a built-in storage drawer that's a sensible buy for living rooms where you want extra seating without losing floor space.
Wine racks and finishing touches
The collection rounds out with wine racks (six designs), planters, mirrors and a few coffee tables. These are the pieces that finish a room rather than define it, and the MSL versions tend to be classic in styling, which means they slot into most existing setups without clashing.
