About Bossy Cat
Bossy Cat is an online furniture and homeware shop based in the UK. We sell pieces for every room in the house and for the garden, with around 10,000 products held in UK warehouses and ready to go out the door.
First, the name, because people ask. Anyone who has lived with a cat knows who actually runs the house. They pick the warmest chair, claim the new rug within the hour, and supervise every delivery from a safe distance on top of the wardrobe. We named the shop after that energy. The home we want to help you build is the kind you'd happily be bossed around in, whether that's by a cat, a dog, or whoever else has strong opinions about where the sofa goes.
The business itself is run by McAllister Digital Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales, with its registered address at 71-75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London WC2H 9JQ. Small UK team, real inbox, no call centre on another continent.
The brands we stock
We don't design our own furniture. Instead we partner with established suppliers who manufacture at scale and ship from UK fulfilment centres. The two ranges that make up most of the catalogue are HOMCOM and vidaXL, both well-known names with thousands of products between them and a solid reputation for build quality at sensible prices. What you'll find on the site
The catalogue covers the main living areas of a home. For the living room there are sofas, armchairs, coffee tables, TV units and sideboards. For the bedroom we've got wardrobes, bed frames, bedside tables and matching storage. Dining is covered by tables, chairs and full sets, and working from home is sorted by the office range. Outside, there's garden furniture, sets, parasols and storage. Then the finishing pieces, lighting, rugs, mirrors and cushions, that pull a room together.
It's a proper home catalogue, built for the way people actually furnish a place, room by room, rather than one item at a time.

Free delivery on every order to UK mainland addresses. Northern Ireland is the one exclusion.
Dispatch in 3 to 5 working days for the vast majority of items, because they're held in UK stock rather than made to order.
No hidden fees at checkout. The price on the product page is the price you pay. No surprise surcharges, no delivery cost sneaking in at the end.
If something isn't right
Get in touch on info@bossycat.co.uk or 07477 927691 and we'll sort it out. You've got 30 days from receiving an item to request a return.
If you've simply changed your mind, the return postage is down to you, which is standard across the industry. If an item turns up faulty or damaged, that's on us, and we cover the cost of getting it back. Full details are on our returns policy page.
Why shop with us rather than direct
Fair question. You can sometimes buy HOMCOM and vidaXL items from their own sites or spot the same product on a marketplace.
