Why is it called Bossy Cat?

Because anyone who lives with a cat knows who really runs the house. Cats pick the warmest chair, claim a new rug within the hour and watch every delivery from the top of the wardrobe. We named the shop after that attitude. The aim is a home you’d happily be bossed around in, whether by a cat, a dog or someone with strong views on where the sofa goes.

McAllister Digital Ltd runs Bossy Cat. It’s a UK limited company registered in England and Wales, with its registered address at 71-75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London WC2H 9JQ. Behind the shop is a small UK team with a real inbox, so when you email info@bossycat.co.uk you’re dealing with people here rather than a call centre overseas.

Is Bossy Cat a UK company?

Yes. Bossy Cat is a UK online furniture and homeware shop, and every order is fulfilled and supported from the UK. Products are held in UK warehouses and sent out from UK fulfilment centres rather than made to order abroad. If you need to speak to someone, our customer service team is on 07477 927 691, Monday to Friday from 9am to 5pm.

What brands does Bossy Cat sell?

HOMCOM and vidaXL make up most of the catalogue. We also stock smaller specialist ranges, such as Minster Stylish Living for more traditional and country-style pieces. Bossy Cat doesn’t design its own furniture. Instead we work with established suppliers who manufacture at scale, and the full list is on our Brands page.

Does Bossy Cat sell garden furniture as well as indoor furniture?

Both. Inside the house, the range covers sofas, armchairs and TV units for the living room, plus wardrobes, bed frames, dining sets and office furniture. For outdoors there’s garden furniture, parasols and garden storage. Lighting, rugs, mirrors and cushions are in there too, so you can furnish a whole room in one order rather than shopping item by item.

Why buy from Bossy Cat instead of direct from HOMCOM or vidaXL?

It’s easier when you’re furnishing a room rather than hunting for one product. You can sometimes find HOMCOM and vidaXL items elsewhere, but Bossy Cat puts them in one catalogue with clear categories and descriptions written for UK shoppers. Every item comes with the same delivery promise, and there’s a UK team you can actually reach if something needs sorting out.

How long do I have to return an item to Bossy Cat?

You have 30 days from receiving an item to request a return. Get in touch on info@bossycat.co.uk or 07477 927 691 first and we’ll talk you through it. If you’ve simply changed your mind, the return postage is paid by you. Full details are on our Returns Policy page.

Can I buy home and garden furniture from Bossy Cat?

Yes. Our range includes sofas, wardrobes, dining sets and garden furniture from brands such as HOMCOM and vidaXL. Delivery is free on all orders to UK mainland addresses and arrives in 3-5 working days, with no hidden fees. If you change your mind, you can return your order, but the return postage is paid by you.

Why "Bossy Cat"?

First, the name, because people ask. Anyone who has lived with a cat knows who actually runs the house. They pick the warmest chair, claim the new rug within the hour, and supervise every delivery from a safe distance on top of the wardrobe. We named the shop after that energy. The home we want to help you build is the kind you'd happily be bossed around in, whether that's by a cat, a dog, or whoever else has strong opinions about where the sofa goes.
